As tax time approaches, now is the perfect opportunity to make a meaningful difference. This end of financial year, we’re asking our amazing So Brave community to help rewrite the narrative for young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Each year, over 1,000 Australian women aged 15-40 hear the words “you have breast cancer.” It’s also often at later stages and more aggressive. Despite this, there’s still a widespread misconception that breast cancer doesn’t affect young women or you need to have a family history. So Brave is here to shine a light on the truth, change outcomes and support young women with breast cancer in tangible ways.
This is what your first donation will do:
- $30 sends a newly diagnosed patient our lived-experience care pack to help navigate their treatment and survival
- $70 funds the development of resources for young women with cancer in our new Mental Health Hub
- $150 funds national campaigns to educate and empower women under 40 years old
- $500 helps us deliver real-time support to newly diagnosed young women
