In a breathtaking segment recently aired on ABC’s Landline, the cameras followed an extraordinary moment in the lives of young breast cancer survivors. One where courage, colour, and advocacy came to life among rows of radiant flowers.
Set on Jen and Rob’s picturesque Lucinda’s Everlastings farm in Mobrup, WA, the story captured So Brave’s signature body painting project in full bloom. With petals at their feet and paint across their skin, two brave young breast cancer survivors, Lisa and Yvonne, stood boldly in a landscape of natural beauty. For these women, their bodies are no longer just canvases of survival, but symbols of strength, transformation, and resilience.
As captured so vividly in the Landline story, So Brave’s work is about more than awareness. It’s about advocacy, visibility and building a support movement for young women who are too often dismissed because of their age.
A huge thank you to Jen and Rob Egerton-Warburton who generously offered their home and flower farm as the backdrop for the photoshoot. The opportunity was also a personal one for Jen, who has a family history of breast cancer and is herself a breast cancer survivor.
