How we work with
young breast cancer survivors
The So Brave Connect program provides support and connection for young women with breast cancer.
So Brave was founded to empower and connect young women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20s and 30s.
We do this in a number of ways including our signature So Brave Model Ambassador program, which takes our young breast cancer survivors through an incredible once-in-a-lifetime bodypaint and photoshoot and a year-long program of fundraising and awareness-raising to leave a legacy for the future and change the conversation of breast cancer in young women in Australia.
So Brave CONNECT is our thriving online community
for women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20s and 30s.
We would love to invite all young women diagnosed with breast cancer to join.
It is a place for connection, but also for those young women to support each other to share their stories, raise awareness in the community and fundraise to change the future for young women and breast cancer.

Our goal is to empower and connect young Australian women diagnosed with breast cancer.
So Brave was founded to empower and connect young women diagnosed with breast cancer in their 20s and 30s. In doing so, we established the So Brave Model Ambassador program – our unique platform that provides young women with the opportunity to not only tell their stories but to also be immortalised in beautiful body paint within our annual calendars.
By elevating our Ambassadors, we open conversations, raise awareness, and empower young women. And by changing the dialogue around breast cancer in women under 40, we change the futures of young women.
We’re currently reimagining the Model Ambassador program and invite all young women who’ve experienced breast cancer and want to share their story to get in touch.
