Uniting Australia to recognise young women’s breast cancer
On 1 September 2025, So Brave launched the first National Day of Awareness for Young Women’s Breast Cancer a moment to recognise, remember, and rally for better awareness, earlier detection, and stronger support.
Held at Parliament House in Canberra, the event showcased the voices and stories of women from across Australia through our Postcode to Parliament initiative, highlighting the diversity and scale of issues faced by young women diagnosed with breast cancer.
Through this national movement, we brought lived experiences to the attention of government, media, and the broader public calling for greater equity and understanding of young women’s unique needs in breast cancer care.
